What I do

I am system manger at Computer Center of University of Udine since 2 April 1986.

Since 1986, until 7 july 2004, I was OpenVMS system manger. I managed the main system ("hydrus") of Computer Center. I also managed the Italian OpenVMS Page (now deleted).

I manage internet services (FTP, Gopher, Email...) since 1992. I developed and mantained the old Gopher system c/o University of Udine. Since 1994 I manage Web services. I also mantained a lot of mailing lists.

Since1997 I'm also committed with WindowsNT operating system. I've been system manager of Sindy services and, then and until now, of Web Services at our University.

I have experiences as a programmer (DCL, Pascal, PHP, Perl, ASP) and as a developer of Multimedia CD-Rom. I wrote some software for OpenVMS and I will publish it very soon.

I also develop Www pages (HTML and Dreamweaver).

Since 2004 I am an AICA authorised Core ECDL Tester.

I enjoy a lot giving courses - about Web, Internet, and not only.

I published some manual and documentation.
